Palworld has now been released worldwide, and the day one Xbox Game Pass title has done a fantastic job blending mechanics from games we know and love into one package.
Now, you’re going to want to venture into the world but will quickly find the problem of not being able to carry all the materials you find. So, you’re going to want to increase your weight capacity!
Palworld: How to increase weight capacity
Palworld incorporates numerous RPG mechanics all into one comprehensive package, and while the main premise of the game is using your Pals in combat, there are also other features you’re going to want to pay attention to.
One of these is the various stats you’ll notice on your player screen, and these can range from Health, Work Speed, and Weight. The latter is what we’re concerned with today, as this stat is going to directly affect how much capacity you’ll be able to carry throughout the world.
To get this increased during your time in Palworld, you’re going to need to grind some experience and level up. Once this is complete, you’ll be able to enhance one of your stats, and players looking to carry more will want to choose Weight.
While you should spread your skill points out over numerous stats, focusing on certain ones will greatly improve your time in Palworld, especially early on.
Another method to increase this capacity is to obtain certain Pals such as Lunaris, Kingpaca, Broncherry and Wumpo offer unique skills that can increase your weight capacity.

Once this is complete, you’ll now be able to carry more items throughout the world before you run out of capacity, which is always a nice feature to have. Especially within a game like Palworld, where the open world is vast, and players are going to encounter numerous new and exciting items during their journey.
While at the surface, Palworld seems to focus more or less on the companions you’re going to find and use in battle. There are major points of emphasis for crafting and gathering, similar to how the Ark titles operate their open worlds, so fans of this title are thrilled with this. However, you’re more than likely going to get lost within one of the many biomes and caves that are around the world, which is never a bad thing!
In the meantime, be sure to head over here, as we’ve got all the content you’ll need to read while diving into Palworld.
