The stamina system in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 has been revamped to match the new perks and skills tree. No longer is stamina burnt from sprinting outside of combat. Instead, melee weapons and guns will drain stamina. Now, knowing how to increase your stamina in Cyberpunk 2077 is more important than ever. You don’t want to be caught short in the middle of a fight.
How to Increase Stamina
There are a number of ways in which to keep your stamina levels up, ranging from upgraded cyberware, to consumables in the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 Cyberware
Cyberware is the best way to mitigate stamina loss in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. With the right tweaks and tools, you can gain some significant stamina recovery rates and higher levels. I like to use the Universal Booster because, as well as giving armor and resistances, it also slows stamina drain by a solid 30%
You should also look out for the Isometric Stabilizer. It provides -18% stamina cost for all attacks and -0.5% stamina cost for each attribute point spent already. Keeping this one in your cyberware will negate a lot of stamina drain in Cyberpunk 2077.
Stamina perks
Inside the perks tree are numerous paths that will mitigate your stamina loss in Cyberpunk 2077. If you move to the Cool tree, you will find the Focus perk, which allows you to take no stamina loss while shooting. This helps you to go on a mad rampage with whatever weapon you like and only pay the price once Focus wears off.
The far right of the Body tree focuses on waving around that big old hammer and feeling good about it. The further up the tree you climb, the less your swings will cost when using a melee weapon. By the end, your melee will cost no stamina at all.
Stamina consumables
You can pick up many stamina consumables around the world of Cyberpunk 2077. A cheap and readily available option is the aptly named Stamina Booster which can be picked up for only a few dollars. This consumable will give a +20% stamina regen for a huge 1800 seconds.
