To Shield Harvest in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, you need to melee an enemy that is Shield Harvestable. Meleeing normal enemies doesn’t Shield Harvest, you need to melee enemies with blue shields above their heads. The question now is how does one increase the Shield Harvest chance?

The game teaches you that the best way to make enemies Shield Harvestable is to shoot them in the legs, but there are ways to increase Shield Harvest chance.

Shield Harvest chance is the hardest thing to increase in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It’s also the most important thing to increase especially as the game gets more challenging. That’s why I recommend every great build, including the best Captain Boomerang build, focus on Shield Harvesting. The two main ways to increase Shield Harvest chance is to look at Talents and Augments.

Talents

All characters have Talents in their skill trees that increase Shield Harvest chance. Regardless of your build, I recommend you take every single one of them. Whenever a Talent says anything about shields, Shield Harvest, Shield Capacity, or Shield Overcharge, take it.

On top of that, each character’s Suicide Strike procs a specific bonus. King Shark’s Suicide Strike increases the Shield Harvest chance on all nearby enemies which makes him the best character for Shield Harvest. Harley Quinn’s is arguably better because it grants your squad Shield Pickups, but Shield Harvest deals more damage and has specific synergies.

Augments

Last but not least, the Shield Mod has an Augment that increases your Shield Harvest chance. No other weapon or piece of gear allows you to increase your Shield Harvest chance. Some weapons and gear have Augments that help you regain shields after doing a specific thing, but that isn’t the same as increasing Shield Harvest chance.

Shield Harvesting is very important in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and now you know all about how to maximize your builds. Speaking of maximizing your builds, you also need to learn about all the Villain Synergies.
