Rogue Demon has a lot of great movesets and abilities, but one of the best ones is Hinokami from Sun Breathing. This ability is hard to pull off even on the ground, but if you manage to pull it off in midair, you get a special cutscene that makes Hinokami one of the coolest moves in the game. Here is how to Hinokami people in the sky in Rogue Demon.
Note: After you have mastered the Sun Breathing Style and Hinokami ability, you can learn how to use Beast Breathing.
Rogue Demon: How to Hinokami people in midair
Hinokami is a move specific to Sun Breathing, so if you want to use it, you first need to equip the Sun Breathing Style. With that done, you also need to know that you can only perform Hinokami when you are at or below 50% HP. Those are the prerequisites for performing Hinokami in midair in Rogue Demon.
When you activate Hinokami, you’ll run along the ground and be able to button mash M2 to continuously slash your opponents. However, if you catch your opponent in midair, you’ll get a special cutscene of you and your target in midair as you perform a devastating Hinokami attack.
The way I Hinokami people in midair is to wait for them to use an aerial attack. When they are in midair, I use Hinokami, rush up to them, and press M2 on them to activate the cutscene.
Another way you can Hinokami people in the sky is to lure them to the edge of a cliff and gain the upper hand so they are facing the edge. When you are ready, use Hinokami. Hopefully, they get scared and run away off the edge which is when you can catch them in the sky. I don’t recommend this strategy over waiting for your target to use an aerial attack, but it can be a way for you to Hinokami people in the sky.
It is hard to Hinokami people in the sky, but once you have done it once or twice, you’ll feel more confident and be able to do it more often.
