How to help complete a Rebel Building in LEGO Fortnite

The Star Wars update in Lego Fortnite brings a ton of great content from the famous sci-fi series including Lightsabers, Blasters, and even robot villagers. One of the first missions in Star Wars Lego Fortnite is to build a Rebel building, which this guide explains how.

LEGO Fortnite: How to complete the Rebel Building

After getting the Macrobinoculars and finding the new Rebel village in Lego Fortnite, you’ll notice that it’s pretty run down. Once you speak to the captain, she’ll ask you to clear debris in a location surrounded by a yellow hologram (looks similar to police tape) so that you can build a new Rebel building. 

To do this, you will need a Pickaxe to destroy stone objects and a Forest Axe to destroy trees. If you’re anything like me, there’s a chance you don’t have these two items in your inventory due to a long hiatus from playing the game. Don’t worry, all you need to do is build a Crafting Bench with three Wood and five pieces of Granite. After, craft a Pickaxe and Forest Axe from the Crafting Bench with the following materials:

• Forest Axe: 5x Wood, 2x Granite
• Pickaxe: 5x Wood

You can easily find the necessary materials in the surrounding area, usually on the ground.

After crafting the two required items, use the Pickaxe to destroy the giant rock and ship within the yellow hologram. Next, knock down the trees with the Forest Axe. Lastly, pick up the remaining debris on the ground (granite, branches, etc) until the entire area is completely clear.

Now that you have completely cleaned the area, the yellow hologram will disappear and it’s time to get to work and start building the Rebel Building. Select the Build option and follow the instructions, placing down each building part, until you receive a check mark. Follow all the building instructions until you complete the building. There are a total of nine steps.
