To earn exciting rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley from the “A Day at Disney” Star Path, you’ll need to complete Star Path Duties to earn Mickey Mouse Tokens. One of these asks you to “Harvest a Cooling Herb,” leaving many players scratching their heads.
This guide explains what the Star Path Duty means by a “cooling herb,” how to harvest them, and what you can do with them once your task is complete.
What is a cooling herb in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, a “cooling herb” refers to Mint. To complete the “Harvest a cooling herb” Star Path Duty, you’ll need to harvest Mint in Frosted Heights. Get it? Frosted Heights? Cooling herb? Even Mike is ashamed of that one.
How to harvest Mint (cooling herb) in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Mint is found exclusively in the Frosted Heights biome in Dreamlight Valley. It grows naturally in the ground and can’t be planted. As you can see in the screenshot above, Mint grows out of brown patches in the ground, which makes it easy to see among the snow and ice.
Every time you pick Mint, you’ll gain progress in the “Harvest a cooling herb” Star Path duty. You can do this by hand or, to save time, use the Ancient Vacuum to quickly obtain all Mint in the area in one go. Work smarter, not harder!
What does Mint do in DDV?
Now you have a ton of Mint in your inventory, what can you do with it? Mint is used as an ingredient in a number of recipes, including:
- Barbecued Brilliant Blue Starfish
- Biryani
- Bulgur Salad
- Chicken Souvlaki
- Mint Boba Tea
- Mint Candy
- Mint Chocolate
- Mint Sorbet
- Peppermint Tea
You can also sell Mint for 50 coins a piece or even gift it to Villagers for a small amount of friendship. The Star Path only requires you to harvest it, so feel free to do with the Mint as you please.
