There are a lot of crafting recipes to unlock in Atomic Heart. Obtaining these recipes lets you create powerful weapons, consumables, and ammo to help you on your journey. One of the most desirable recipes to get is the Zvezdochka which is arguably the best melee weapon in Atomic Heart. Here’s how to get the Zvezdochka and find its blueprint location in Atomic Heart.

Atomic Heart: Zvezdochka blueprint Location
Contrary to what some players think, most recipes and blueprints in Atomic Heart don’t have a set spawn. However, there are chests that seem to give an increased drop rate of specific crafting recipes. In the case of the Zvezdochka, this chest can be found in the village you emerge from after first exiting the Vavilov Complex.
However, it is possible that you will not receive the Zvezdochka recipe from this chest. If you don’t receive the item, then you have some more looting to do. This is because the location of the Zvezdochka in Atomic Heart is somewhat random, but you can roughly predict when you’ll get it.
Atomic Heart‘s recipes are received from random chests, but the order of the recipes is not random. Instead, the game goes down a preset list. The Zvezdochka is in the second half of this list following the Snowball, Kalash, Kalash Rounds, Snowball – Handle, Large Neuromed Capsule, and Electro in that order. If you received any of these recipes recently, then you can expect to unlock the Zvezdochka soon.
After finding the location of the Zvezdochka in Atomic Heart you’ll also want to unlock its key upgrades. To turn the Zvezdochka into a truly devastating melee weapon, you’ll want to unlock the Reverse Shot upgrade found in Testing Ground 1 and the Lower Blade with Reflex Booster upgrade found in Testing Ground 8.
