Diablo 4: How to make Vault Sigils in Season 3

Once you unlock World Tier 3, you’ll get the chance to not only explore Nightmare Dungeons, but Nightmare Vaults. This new type of dungeon will have deadly traps, dangerous Constructs, and Wardwoven Chests at the end for a reward. To get inside Nightmare Vaults you need Vault Sigils. You’ll need Pearls of Warding to craft Vault Sigils, which you can obtain by partaking in Arcane Tremors. These are new overworld events to complete that earn you rewards such as Pearls of Warding. If you’re not using Pearls of Warding to craft Vault Sigils, you can also use them to buy stacks of Zoltun’s Warding.

Zoltun’s Warding is a blessing you can get before entering Vaults. If you get hit with traps inside of the Vault, your stack will start to diminish. The higher your stack is by the end of the Vault, the better rewards you receive in the Wardwoven Chests.

Nightmare Vaults are just like Nightmare Dungeons, but they act like Vaults do, they’re just more difficult. But with high risks come high rewards. And just like how Nightmare Dungeons require Nightmare Sigils, you need to craft Vault Sigils just to get inside Nightmare Vaults.

During Season 3, you can access four different Nightmare Vaults, each with its own Sigils required to open. Also, completing Nightmare Vaults can earn you Vault Sigils, so you won’t have to constantly craft new ones.
