The Transoceanic Pearl is a common item in Genshin Impact. You can use this item to create the rarer variants of this item: the Transoceanic Chunk and the Xenochromatic Crystal. Here’s the item’s in-game description: “A small crystal obtained from a defeated Fontemer Aberrant. Fontemer Aberrants arise from Fontaine’s sea. They are believed to be a unique life form born from the mysterious energy in the water.”

For farming routes, Genshin Impact actually provides in-game farming routes for enemies that you can follow to obtain the Transoceanic Pearl item. To find these routes, click your Adventurer’s Guide on the top-right. Click the “Enemies” tab, and then find the “Fontemer Abberant” enemy.
