Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree: How to reach Scorpion River Catacombs

Reaching the Scorpion River Catacombs will take some time and will require you to encounter numerous enemies along the path. Just remember you can run past all enemies on Torrent, so don’t feel the need to fight them.

To get to Scorpion River Catacombs, you will want to start at the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace. From here, head northeast towards the small body of water that is sort of shaped like a triangle.

Once you reach this location, you’ll find a Statue of Marika and a cave to enter. Enter the cave and continue forward until you find Perfumer’s enemies next to a giant tree. Take a right here and jump out of the cave, onto the poison swamp.

Next, continue north through the poison swamp until you reach the area marked on the map below.

You now want to head west and continue pressing forward until you reach the Rauh Base region. The Ancient Ruins Base Site of Grace is nearby, so feel free to activate that if you’d like.

Now you’ll want to head southeast until you reach the Temple Town Ruins. Instead of going through the Temple Town Ruins, head north and follow the small river upstream. The picture below shows where you should head on the map (white marker) and the red arrow is pointing to the river you need to follow.

Keep following the river, running past the annoying centipede-like enemies, and you’ll eventually notice a door with lit torches next to it.

Once inside, take the elevator down and activate the Site of Grace so you can fast-travel here whenever you’d like.
