There is a farmhouse north of Vernworth that is locked and very difficult to get in to. I’ve gotten into the locked Farmhouse outside of Vernworth in Dragon’s Dogma 2 so I’m equipped to help you do the same.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 locked farmhouse: How to get in
The locked farmhouse I’m referring to is north of Vernworth in the farm fields right before the bridge. Use the image above to confirm the location.
The problem we’re facing is the door is locked — it’s actually blocked by a piece of wood — and it’s difficult to know how to break the wood to get in. I tried levitating as a Mage to get in from the roof and I tried using a Steady Shot as an Archer to shoot the wood, but neither of those techniques work.
There is only one way to get into this farmhouse and it’s through the sewer which is found directly under the bridge to the north of the farmhouse. Again, this is the only way to get into the locked farmhouse. It’s cool to know there are hidden mini-adventures even for something as small as a locked farmhouse in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Enter the sewer and make your way through. After fighting some bugs and bandits — don’t forget to get the chest with RC in it — climb up the ladder. Strange place for a ladder, but it brings you right into the farmhouse. Inside, I found 1,580 Gold and a chest that had five Silver in it. More importantly, I broke the wood that locked the door.
The mystery of the farmhouse has been solved! Now, you don’t need to stay awake at night, haunted by what could be in the farmhouse. You can move on to bigger and better adventures, like how to complete The Phantom Oxcart quest.
