Dead Island 2: How to get the Tricksters’ Smile Knife
Even if you haven’t downloaded Dead Island 2 onto your PC yet, you can still get the Tricksters’ Smile Knife, an in-game weapon, right now. To do so, all you need to do is sign up for the Dead Island 2 newsletter, register for a PROS account, and unlock the Knife.

The first step requires you to go to the Dead Island 2 website. Once there, select the Newsletter button or scroll down the page until you see the newsletter sign-up. Enter your email, first name, country, and preferred platform, and then select Join Up.
You then get a Dead Island 2 email. Open it and select Verify Now. This will bring you back to the Dead Island 2 website where you need to create a PROS account.
PROS is a gaming company that runs external matters for Deep Silver games. Register for the PROS account, open the new confirmation email, and enter the verification code there into the PROS box.
With that done, all you need to do now is follow Dead Island 2 which can be easily done through your PROS account. Lastly, you need to link your version of Dead Island 2 to your PROS account. The easiest way to do this is to scan the QR code within the Dead Island 2 main menu.
Where do you get the Tricksters’ Smile Knife in Dead Island 2?
If you have successfully done all of that, you get the Tricksters’ Smile Knife from Carlos, one of the first traders you meet. You need to complete the mission where you defend Emma Jaunt’s house from zombies in Bel-Air. Once that is done, talk to Carlos and you’ll get this wicked Knife.
