Tears of the Kingdom – how to find the treasure at Lizard Lakes

To get the special Vah Rudania Divine Helm, you need to venture into a cave and grab it from a treasure chest. As treasure hunts go, it’s not particularly difficult because the cave isn’t well hidden.

Get the treasure at Lizard Lakes by bringing along some Bomb Flowers and Arrows when you go exploring near Goron City. If you have completed the quest line related to Yunobo, you can instead use the sage’s Vow of Yunobo ability when the appropriate time comes.

The Vah Rudania Divine Helm is locked away in a cave blocked by fallen rubble. Consult the map image above to find the precise location of the treasure itself. It waits at the end of a shallow cave. As you can see, the cave entrance is located between two lakes shaped like lizards. Those landmarks are easy to spot on the map once you reveal the area by visiting the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower. If you have activated Sibajitak Shrine, you can fast travel to it and then venture southwest.

At the cave’s entrance, you’ll encounter a rock obstruction. Hit it with your explosives or the sage’s ability to reveal Lizard’s Burrow. It is a small cave with treasure chest at the end. Open the chest to claim the Vah Rudania Divine Helm.

On the way back out, watch the high wall to your right to spot another weak wall. There is a Bomb Flower growing along the opposite side of that same passageway. Attach it to an arrow and fire at the wall. Then pass through the opening this produces and find the cave’s frog. Now you’re finally done in the cave.
