How to get the Tombstone Schematic in MW3 Zombies

Just a Stone's throw away!

Few things feel worse in Modern Warfare 3 than loading your backpack up with some killer items only to be destroyed by a horde and lose it all. However, with the Tombstone Soda perk, you get to keep all your stuff.

Once you have the Tombstone schematic in MW3 Zombies, you will never have to lose your hard-earned loot again.

Where to find the Tombstone Schematic

To get your hands on the schematic for Tombstone in MW3 Zombies, you need to make your way deep into the tier-three zone. Here, you’re going to be up against the toughest zombies and the hardest bosses. Before you venture into this area, you need to make sure you’re ready with fully pack-a-punched weapons and some serious gear.

Once you’re in the tier-three zone, start looking for contracts to do. You can only earn the Tombstone Schematic by pulling it from rifts. This means you will have to work through a few challenges before you have it permanently in your loadout.

I personally think that the cargo delivery missions are some of the easiest to complete. You simply need to pick up a vehicle from a set location. Then, kill a few mercenaries and deliver the vehicle. If I was looking to get through as many rifts as possible for the Tombstone Schematic, this is how I would do it.

What is the Tombstone Schematic used for?

Once you use the Tombstone perk, you will drop a tombstone upon death. This can then be visited when you load back into MW3 Zombies, and all your gear can be retrieved. It’s a very helpful tool if you know you’re going to be pushing your luck on a run or you’re going in with your best gear.

Tombstone can also be used to run a glitch that will result in infinite Ether. We have a very easy-to-follow guide on it here.
