The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a lot of things you can find in the open world of Hyrule, with one of these being different armor sets that are all over the place. These armor sets have different bonuses and resistances and are, overall, incredibly useful in the fight against Ganondorf. One of these armor sets is the Rubber Armor, which grants Shock Resistance. All three pieces are located in different caves. You can find the Rubber helm in the Sarjon Woods Cave. The Rubber armor in located in the Whistling Hill Cave. The Rubber tights are located in Horon Lagoon Cave.

The Rubber Helm

You can get the Rubber Helm at the Sarjon Woods Cave, which you can see on the map below. When you get to this cave, you’re going to need to swim a lot to get the Rubber Armor piece that’s here in Tears of the Kingdom. You can either swim, or there are logs along the way which you can craft a makeshift raft out of, but this method takes a lot longer than swimming.

There are plenty of places to rest along the way where you can recover stamina, but there are also Horriblins along the path. With two pieces of the Zora Armor equipped, I could swim by almost every enemy in this cave without any hassle. The only two I couldn’t swim by were the first Horriblin, who hit me as I was passing, which was probably bad luck, and the Like Like which you have to deal with to burn down the vines behind it and not get swallowed by it. After getting past them, though, it should be plain sailing to get the Rubber Helm at this location in Tears of the Kingdom, as it’s just at the end of this cave in plain view.

Getting the Rubber Armor in Tears of the Kingdom

The Rubber Armor is located in the south of Hyrule Field, in the Whistling Hill Cave. You can see the precise location on the map below.

Much like the Rubber Helm, you need to continue to the end of this cave to get the Rubber Armor. The path immediately splits into two as you go into the cave, but you can take the path leading to the right to get to the end with no issues. You’ll find a few enemies in here, such as Keese and Like Likes, but they should be no hassle if you’ve taken them down before now.

There is one point that might stump you, and that’s after dropping down a hole and dealing with some Stalkoblins. There seems to be nowhere to go, but there is an overhang that you can Ascend through, which leads to the way forward to getting the Rubber Armor in Tears of the Kingdom.

The Rubber Tights

To get the final piece of the Rubber Armor, you need to head to the location you see on the map above, to a cave that goes by the name Horon Lagoon Cave. In here you’ll need to kill a Horriblin before continuing down a linear path. This cave revolves around using the level of the water to get past spikes on the bottom of the cave. Time it so that the water is over the spikes when you swim over them, and you should be fine. Destroy the rocks at the end of this path and then claim the Rubber Tights.
