The Redmask Ranker is a backbling you can get in Fortnite based on your skill in ranked mode. There are three variations, silver, gold, and diamond, and each is rewarded based on how well you’re doing in ranked. Epic Games seems to be second guessing things based on a tweet, so they’ve made getting the first rarity of this pretty straightforward.
Fortnite – How to get the Redmask Ranker
To get the Redmask Ranker Back Bling in Fortnite, you need to log in during Chapter 4 Season 4. There are no additional requirements, quests, or purchases necessary. All levels and experience levels have an equal chance of claiming this exclusive item as long as they log in during the season.
This doesn’t mean that you’ll get the best looking version of it. Fortnite is only giving out the basic Silver to everyone. You need to earn Gold and Diamond through your skill in Ranked mode. You’ll get a better one based on your ranking during Chapter 4 Season 4.

If you don’t get it after logging in, which is what happened to me. Go to the item shop and the game will take you to the screen where you earn the backbling. My best guess is that the internet isn’t really doing what it should, so when you go to the item shop you’re essentially requesting to view items from Epic Games and then the game sees that you don’t have the item that you should.
That’s just a guess though. I tend to do that whenever I have these kinds of issues in Fortnite.
Why is the Redmask Ranker Back Bling free?
Fortnite Status released a Tweet that makes us think the reason this back bling is free is due to an issue with ranked. “After reviewing Ranked quest data” is the key word here, and they said that future items like this will have prerequisites. This makes us think that future items will come out when Ranked Quests are ready, and these ranked quests might not be.
