Dave the Diver has everything you would want from an 8-bit indie game. It has relationship builders, a restaurant sim, underwater leviathans, and a chubby guy with a harpoon. MINTRCOET has done a wonderful job of not only creating a beautiful world to swim around it but filling it with engaging and enthralling characters too. With the appearance of some friendly dolphins, one of which is pink, it also falls upon Dave the Diver to start snapping the odd photo.
How to get a Pink Dolphin photo in Dave the Diver
In chapter 2 of Dave the Diver, you will meet a new dolphin friend. As with most other characters in the game, he relies on Dave the Diver’s big, if slightly struggling, heart to help him out. The results are as you would expect; loot and a few nice shiny trinkets to wear as underwater assistance.
Once you have freed the dolphin’s pink friend from the fishermans nets, it falls on your shoulders to snap a photo of the rare pink dolphin. How would anyone believe you otherwise? As the pink dolphin swims around, you need to get your timing and focus absolutely perfect for the ideal shot.
As the pink dolphin swims around, it will periodically blow bubbles. If you pay attention, you will notice one of these sets is in a heart shape; this is what you’re aiming for Dave the Diver to capture. Swim towards the area the pink dolphin is swimming and click on the photo or camera icon on the screen. You will be entered into the photo minigame.
To have Dave the Diver capture the perfect shot, you should wait for the pink dolphin to blow the heart bubbles and line your camera up. You will have to time your shot perfectly as it approaches the center of the camera lens. Hold down the space bar until the frame turns green and the pink dolphin is blowing heart bubbles right in the middle of the area. This is going to take a few attempts as it is all about timing. Don’t try to chase the dolphin for the photo; just wait in its swimming pattern.
