How to get the moose mount in Diablo 4

Here's how to get the moose mount in Diablo 4.

There are a lot of free mounts in Diablo 4 and the coolest one is the moose mount. Call it a moose, call it an elk, or a deer with armor plating, the moose mount in Diablo 4 transforms your horse’s look through an armor that adds antlers. Here is how to unlock the moose mount in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4: How to get the moose mount

The moose mount in Diablo 4 is actually called Scosglen Barding. You of course need to first unlock access to mounts, but once you’ve done that, the only way to get the moose mount is through RNG luck.

There are two ways to increase your chances at unlocking Scosglen Barding, or the moose mount, in Diablo 4: open Legion Event chests and Helltide chests.

Legion Event chests are the regional events that show up periodically and are marked with an orange circle. You can complete these alone or with friends, but if you complete them — and complete the bonus challenge associated with the event — you’re likely to get the moose mount.

Helltide events are unlocked in World Tier 3. Once you’re there, you can participate in a Helltide event and farm Aberrant Cinders to open the Helltide chests. While the Helltide chests will usually give a specific reward, you can get lucky and find the moose mount.

Most people are finding that you have increased odds of finding the moose mount at World Tier 3 or 4. You can probably find the moose mount armor at World Tier 2, but it’ll be more challenging.

The last tip I recommend is doing Legion Events and Helltides in Scosglen, which is the area north of Fractured Peaks. Since the moose mount armor is called Scolsglen Barding, my guess is that it has a higher chance of dropping in the Scolsglen region.
