Enjoy this awesome crossover

The Meowmere is a late-game weapon from Re-Logic’s phenomenally successful Terraria. This mighty sword marks a subtle crossover between the titles. If you want it, here’s how to get the Meowmere sword from Terraria in Stardew Valley 1.6

How to get the Meowmere in Stardew Valley 1.6

The hunt for the Meowmere is a mid to late-game activity in Stardew Valley. If you’re a new player, it will take multiple hours to reach this point, but here’s how to get the Meowmere step by step.

Reach level 100 in the Mines

The Mines are far north of the town center and offer many items you can’t find anywhere else. You must reach level 100 in the Mines as you need access to the Lava pool on that floor.

Each floor has a ladder to head deeper into the Mines. Sometimes, the ladder is out in the open but usually hidden by a rock. You’ll need your pickaxe, a weapon, and plenty of food. Fortunately, the Adventurer’s Guild near the Mines sells decent equipment. You can bring any food you like, although Cheese is a popular option if you have it.

There’s a checkpoint every ten floors, so take your time making your way to the bottom. If you’re happy to wait, I recommend watching the Fortune Teller TV channel each day before you travel to the Mines. If the Spirits are ‘very happy’ or ‘in good humor,’ you’ll usually find more valuable items.

Find an Ancient Doll

If you don’t already have one, this step will likely take a while. The Ancient Doll is a rare drop from Artifact Spots.

Artifact Spots are marked by a small patch of worms on the ground (pictured above). If you find these on your travels, hit them with your hoe (any rarity is fine) to dig up your reward. The drop rate for the Ancient Doll is exceptionally low at roughly 3%, so it’s best to let this step happen naturally.

Throw the Ancient Doll into the Lava in the Mines

Once you have the Ancient Doll, throw it into the Lava on floor 100 of the Mines. You’ll get the Far Away Stone required for the Meowmere Sword.

Befriend the Wizard

The Wizard lives in a tower to the far west of the map. You must enter his Basement, but you can only do that once you’ve reached four hearts with him.

Daily greetings and Gifts are the fastest way to increase your relationship points. The Basement is worth unlocking even if you don’t want the sword, as you can change how your character and pets look from here.

Head into the Basement

With the Far Away Stone in hand, head down into the Basement. Place the Far Away Stone on the pylon base to the right of the room, and you’ll receive the Meowmere Sword.

Unlocking the Meowmere requires a few time-consuming steps, so it’s best not to rush. Keep a hoe in your inventory in case you find an Artifact Spot, and feel free to befriend the Wizard early to save some time.

Once you have unlocked the Basement and Sewers, you can change nearly every ‘permanent’ decision you make in Stardew Valley. The Basement is also required for some very late game activities, including new additions with update 1.6.
