Pokemon Go isn’t just a great way to stay healthy, but also a satisfying way to become the top dog in your neighborhood. Owning Gyms, collecting Pokemon, and battling foes is all part of living your 11-year-old dreams of being a Pokemon trainer. As you make your way around your local area, clocking in steps and sighting Pokemon, you can slowly build your collection and get closer to completion. Of course, some Pokemon, like the ever-elusive Valerian Legendary Birds, are almost impossible to catch. However, with the release of the Master Ball in Pokemon Go, they won’t be out of your grasp for long.

How to get the Master Ball in Pokemon Go

As many of you may remember, the Master Ball is the big boy of Pokeballs. Nothing can resist its iron-like grasp, ensuring zero chance of escape. Whenever I ran through a new game back in the day of my Gameboy Advance, I would always save it for the Legendary Pokemon right at the end of the game. Mewtwo was never safe. The same runs true for Pokemon Go.

In a tweet posted on the Pokemon Go Twitter, the announcement was made that the Master Ball would be available to everyone who met the requirements to get it. As the corresponding news article mentions, Special Research will be available during Season 10: Rising Heros. By completing the Special Research, only active between May 22nd at 10:00 a.m. and June 1st, 2023 at 10:00 a.m, you will be awarded the Master Ball in Pokemon Go

However, this is only eight days you will have to jump through all the hoops necessary to complete the Special Research. In addition, the Tweet suggests that the release of a Master Ball in Pokemon Go will be a rare occurrence. Make sure you’re logged in between these dates; you never know when the next one will be out.
