Like a Dragon Gaiden – how to get the Judgment characters to join your team

The Like a Dragon series has been around for a long while, and it has a spinoff series that began with Judgment. Games in that other series feature a few main characters. To get the Judgment characters to join your team, complete the End the Destruction request.

You receive the End the Destruction request as you work your way through Like a Dragon Gaiden’s main campaign. For me, it was one of the last few requests that became available in Chapter 3. I had already cleared many of the game’s other quests.

To complete the End the Destruction request, you simply have to travel between the various points the game indicates on the map, investigating a case alongside the volatile Masaharu Kaito. Sometimes, you don’t get along so well.

Although Kaito works primarily in Kamurocho, he has come to Sotenbori to investigate recent violence against homeless people. You shouldn’t have much trouble with any of the fights. You’re likely powered up a fair bit by this point in the game, plus you can scarf down some food to restore health if needed.

When you finish the mission, Masaharu Kaito and Toru Higashi join your team. That’s in addition to the promised 1,000,000 yen and 15,000 Akame Points you receive. You can make the new characters active for Hell Team Rumble battles at the Castle. They’re pretty powerful characters, as you might expect. I use them whenever I can.
