I love how Modern Warfare 3 lets you alter your favorite weapons with Aftermarket Parts. Now instead of having a pistol, you’ve made a powerful SMG. The JAK Purifier in Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) does exactly that, and we’ll show you how to unlock it.
Modern Warfare 3 (MW3): How to unlock the JAK Purifier kit
Assuming you don’t get hit with any error codes like Niamey Logan that ding your progression, unlocking this attachment is easy. All you need to do is level up your battlepass to reach A14. On top of that, the JAK Purifier is a free item, so you don’t need to buy any special thing for the battle pass to unlock it. This can be done by doing several challenges and you’ll progress the battlepass.Â
The good thing is that these challenges can be in Zombies, Warzone, DMV, and the multiplayer of MW3. Just make sure to supplement them as you complete one. That way you can consistently beat the challenges. If you run out of daily challenges, you can keep on progressing with the weekly challenges. So in other words, you’re going to have to play quite a bit to unlock this attachment.
Which guns does the attachment work for?
Most Aftermarket work on most weapons, however, for the JAK Purifier, you can only attach it to the following guns:
- Sidewinder
- Holger 556
- DG-56
- SVA-545
- RAM-7
- MCW
- MTZ-556
- Riveter
- BGAS-B
Note, even if have the under barrel unlocked, you must level up any weapon listed above to unlock the Aftermarket section.
How does the JAK Purifier work?
It adds a flame thrower under the barrel. So when you’re fighting at medium or close range, you can shoot and stack damage with fire. It’s a good way to crowd control, and if you’re playing on objective-based modes, you can hold your position better.Â
