Fortnite: How to get the Crash Pad Jr.

Fortnite OG players are very familiar with the Crash Pad. It’s great so save yourself from a nasty fall, or when you need a quick way to get out of the storm.

Crash Pad Jr. is similar to its big brother in the sense that it flings the player into the air for a short period. However, Crash Pad Jr. is only big enough for one player to use it at a given time.

Players eager to use Crash Pad Jr. will want to loot as you normally would around the Fortnite map, as there is no location dedicated place to find Crash Pad Jr. Chests. Ground loot is going to be your best bet from what we can tell. Eliminating players also offers a good chance of snagging one.

While we have to await more hotfixes in the coming days, this is now the second week in a row that Epic has added an item that was previously in Chapter 4 back into the game. The Lock-on Pistol was the first addition, and now the Crash Pad Jr. has us thinking that we could see other items return. Perhaps the Rocket Ram? That’s just wishful thinking on my part, but a boy can dream.

There’s no way to know which items/weapons Epic is going to add, so we’ll have to wait and see what we get in future updates.

In the meantime, you’re going to need an edge in combat, so why not read our guide on getting the Enforcer AR in Fortnite?
