If you chose something other than Charmander then I can’t trust you. Here is how to get starters in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to get starters in The Indigo Disk
You’ll notice in The Indigo Disk DLC that the new Blueberry Academy area completely lacks starter Pokémon. Is this the result of extremely bad RNG? Well, no. You will need to activate each of the Blueberry Academy biomes’ ability to spawn starters in the League Club Support Board.
You will not gain access to the League Club Room from the get-go, so you will need to advance through the main quests until Drayton brings you it. The Support Board is a computer that will allow you to unlock or expand several in-game functions and even get cosmetics. You can then return later to access it and locate the last four upgrades called Terrarium Club. Each of these upgrades will unlock the ability to spawn starters on each of the Blueberry Academy biomes:
Support Board Terrarium Club Upgrades
Support Board Upgrade | Coast | Starter Pokémon Spawns |
---|---|---|
Terrarium Club (Savannah Biome) | 3000 BP | Charmander Fennekin Rowley Snivy Sobble Totodile |
Terrarium Club (Coastal Biome) | 3000 BP | Bulbasaur Chikorita Froakie Grookey Mudkip Poplio |
Terrarium Club (Canyon Biome) | 3000 BP | Cyndaquil Litten Squirtle Treecko Tepig Turtwig |
Terrarium Club (Polar Biome) | 3000 BP | Chespin Chikorita Oshawott Piplup Scorbunny Torchic |

As you can see there are a lot of starter Pokémon that can spawn across all the different biomes in the Blueberry Academy in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk. Be sure to collect the amount of BP necessary – which is a lot – to upgrade each of these biomes so that you can capture starters!
