Best way to get SP in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

There are two main ways to get SP in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: leveling up from battles and finding/purchasing Manuscripts across the game world. The former will reward you with 5 SP per level up, while the latter can earn you much more depending on the Manuscript you purchase.

Since Manuscripts can earn you more SP and remove the need to grind through battles tediously, knowing where to find them is a must. In the following section, we got you covered on how to find Manuscripts in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Players can get Manuscripts by purchasing them at Moogle Emporiums with a currency called “Moogle Medals.” Manuscripts are also rewarded to players after completing certain side quests.

With that in mind, you should focus on completing side quests and keep on the lookout for Moogle Medals as much as possible if you want to gain SP fast. Moogle Medals can be found in breakable boxes in the game world. I had the most luck finding them on top of towers.

While searching for Moogle Medals for Manuscripts, fight enemies along the way to maximize the amount of SP you receive on your journey.

Moogle Emporiums are new to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and can be unlocked at a Mogstool. There are seven Moogle Emporiums in total, one found in each region of the game. To officially unlock the Moogle Emporium at the Mogstool, the player must complete a “Moogle Mischief” minigame at its location.

To get you started, I have pinned the location of the Mogstool in the Grasslands region below. It is located southeast of Bill’s Ranch.

When you arrive, complete the Moogle Mischief minigame. Once completed, the Moogle Emporium will unlock, and you can purchase a Manuscript to increase your SP. For example, the Way of the Fist Vol. 1 at the Moogle Emporium in the Grasslands will instantly reward you with 10 SP upon purchasing.

What is SP used for in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

SP in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is used primarily for unlocking Folio abilities and upgrading weapons. These two upgrade systems are a great way to increase your party’s damage in combat, making the game’s challenging bosses more manageable. The more you upgrade a weapon or move farther in the Folio tree, the more SP the game requires.

Now that you know how to get SP through Manuscripts, you will earn them faster than before and make your party stronger in no time!
