How to Get Rune Marrow in Warframe

How to Get Rune Marrow in Warframe

Too many resources to count.

Rune Marrow is one of the many new resources added with the new Warframe expansion. Duviri Paradox brings players to a new realm in which to fight enemies and get to grips with new weapons. It isn’t hard to get Rune Marrow in Warframe, provided you know where to look. It seems like a super rare resource due to how it pops onto the screen, but you’ll find you have a lot of it.

How to Get Rune Marrow in Warframe

Rune Marrow seems to only be present in the Undercroft section of the newest update. Therefore, you will need to work your way through the storyline until you have access to this area in Warframe. Make sure you take the time to look around whenever you are in this area.

The Rune Marrow has hidden away in chests called Runic Compacts that need to be broken open to get ahold of the goodies inside. The chests blend in with the environment, so keep your eyes peeled.

It is possible to farm the Rune Marrow in Warframe once you have completed the main storyline. You can constantly rerun the Endless Circuit mission to collect as much as you need. The chests work on random drops, so always running the task will heighten your chances of receiving the material.

What is it for?

The Duviri Paradox expansion comes with a pair of new melee weapons: Sun and Moon. To build these, you’ll need some Rune Marrow along with Kovnik, Lamentus, and Silphsela. These are all collected by destroying chests and plants around the new map.

You will already be familiar with Sun and Moon as you play through the plot of Duviri, as they are the weapons used by the drifter. Once you become accustomed to them and probably quite attached, you can bring them back into the full game with a blueprint awarded at the end of the plot.
