How to get Resurrection in Type Soul

Get your Resurrection in Type Soul by following these steps!

Resurrection is a move Hollows get to use in Type Soul. However, after becoming a Hollow, you don’t automatically unlock your Resurrection. Instead, you need to follow a specific set of steps to finally get your Resurrection. Here is exactly how to get your Resurrection in Type Soul.

Type Soul: How to unlock Resurrection

After becoming a Hollow in Type Soul, the first step to getting Resurrection is to become Grade Level 2. You can do this by defeating enemies in the area.

The next step is to reach the edge of the Hueco Mundo map, the side with the big castle with the hallway entrance. Enter that location and continue to search all the rooms. You are looking for an NPC to talk to, which can spawn in different locations.

After talking to the NPC, you’ll start the Resurrection quest and an item will spawn into the server. It’s important to not leave the server now because if you do, you’ll have to wait an hour to talk to the NPC again to start the quest, although doing this can be a way to get your item.

Where to find the Resurrection item in Type Souls

Unfortunately, the spot that the item spawns at is always random, but it will be somewhere in the castle.

Alternatively, you can leave the server and rejoin, wait for the hour cooldown to end, and talk to the pink orb on the table located at the end of the second-floor lab room.

If you do this, the item will automatically spawn at the pink orb. I recommend doing this method since it cuts down the time required to find the item and it’s the only sure way of getting it. You can also decrease the cooldown time by killing Soul Society NPCs and players.

How to complete the parkour section in Type Souls

After you have the item, you need to carry it all the way across the Heuco Mundo map without dying (which is easier said than done, so I recommend doing this with a few friends to guard you) and complete the parkour section which starts by jumping into the big pit.

Now, you need to complete a difficult parkour section while holding your item. There is no trick to completing the parkour section other than knowing exactly where to jump, practicing it a lot, and remembering to land directly in between your two legs to ensure the landings.

Once the parkour section is complete, you’ll earn your Resurrection and be able to upgrade it by using it. Now, you can continue being a Hollow or decide if you want to be a Soul Reaper and get one of the best Shikai in the game.
