There are a ton of amazing Legendary weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3, but what are some of the best? If you’ve heard of Nyrulna, you’ve probably heard great things about it. In my opinion, this is probably the best Legendary weapon in the entire game, but you’ll have to make your own opinion once you see its stats. Let me show you how to get the Nyrulna Legendary trident in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3): Where to get Nyrulna trident Legendary weapon
This +3 Weapon Enchantment trident has quite a few incredible features and Weapon Actions. Tridents are martial melee weapons, so it would be a crime if anyone who is proficient with martial weapons in your party didn’t have this staff. How you can get the Nyrulna Legendary trident in Baldur’s Gate 3 is during Act 3 in Rivington at the Circus of the Last Days. Specifically, from Akabi.
Akabi is a djinni who has a spinning wheel for a carnival game. The only problem is you’ll soon notice it’s a little rigged. How you can win is by cheating a bit yourself, which will then lead you to getting Nyrulna. I recommend you pick your sneakiest character, probably Astarion, and have them pickpocket Akabi. Take the Djinni Ring, wear it, then try out the spin-the-wheel game.

Miraculously, you win the jackpot! Akabi isn’t very pleased with this though, and he’ll accuse you of cheating. No matter what you say, he’ll teleport whoever’s wearing the ring to a strange jungle.
Sneak around and avoid the dinosaurs roaming around, and head to the very end of the jungle. You should see a small island with a portal to escape, and a large chest. I had Astarion cast Invisibility, and then when close enough, Misty Step to the portal.
Don’t leave just yet. Open the chest, and there you’ll find Nyrulna! This beautiful trident has quite a few intriguing stats that probably makes this the most powerful weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3:
- 1d6+3 Piercing damage
- 1d8+3 Piercing damage
- 1d6 Thunder damage
- Zephyr Connection: The weapon will return to your hand when thrown. You cannot be forced to drop it. Once thrown, it creates an explosion dealing 3d4 Thunder damage.
- Veil of the Wind: You gain 3m bonus movement speed and jump distance. Equipping Nyrulna gives you Immunity to fall damage.
- Nyrulna Glowing: Object glows light in a 6m radius.
- Zephyr Flash Weapon Action: Rush forward, creating an air vortex that blasts foes and possibly inflicts Bleeding.
- Zephyr Break Weapon Action: Imitates the effects of Gust of Wind spell while dealing thunder damage.
Nyrulna is an incredible weapon that deals Thunder and Piercing damage, it makes you immune to fall damage, and acts like Thor’s Mjolnir when you throw it, among other features. There’s really no reason why you shouldn’t grab this weapon, and it’s right at the beginning of Act 3!
