Aspects are one of the newer mechanics in Diablo 4. You can upgrade the traditional way by going to a blacksmith, or use Aspects to enhance your gear. Going through a blacksmith is easier, but the weapon or gear won’t be as strong. Choosing to imprint your gear with Aspects gives it powerful modifiers, which can do wonders for your build. They are crucial to have because they can make the fights go in your favor. However, there seem to be a few ways to earn Aspects, either through drops of gear that already have them on, or through certain activities. Some can difficult to obtain, while others may be on the easy side. The Needleflare Aspect has been making waves, and this guide will show you how to get it in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4: How to get the Needleflare Aspect
Like most Aspects that aren’t already equipped on gear, you have to go to the specific dungeons littered throughout Sanctuary. The best way to find this out is by hovering over a dungeon. It’ll tell you what the Aspect is, and who it’s for. Unlike finding Sacred or Unquie gear, you don’t have to go through extra hoops.
Locating the Needleflare Aspect is similar to finding other Apsects in Diablo 4. To start, head to Yshari Sanctum. This will be in the Northern section of Caldeum, which is located in the Kehjistan Region. Additionally, there will also be a waypoint near, make sure you nab it before moving on. You don’t have to be on a harder World Tier to access this Aspect, you just need to be far enough in the story to unlock. This is because The Road the Caldeum is blocked, and can be opened up at a certain point in the campaign.
Assuming you’re far enough in Diablo 4’s story, and the way is clear from Caldeum, simply head to the dungeon. Just like any other dungeon, you’ll be tasked with clearing it. After you’ve all the enemies are gone, you’re final objective will be facing a boss. Once you’ve beaten them, you’ll earn the Needleflare Aspect automatically. From there, you can head to any Occulist and apply the Aspect.
Benefits of the Needleflare Aspect
The Aspect isn’t limited to certain classes, but it can help the Druids and Barbarians more. That’s because the Offensive Aspect gives a 20 percent chance of dealing Thorn damage to enemies. Since both the Druid and Barbarian class can have rather high attack stats, it makes sense to give this Aspect to those heavier classes.
Diablo 4 is available now via Battle.net.
