Mages are one of the most beloved classes in the franchise, and they’ve received some new quests to go alongside their runes for SoD. However, Mages are also getting a brand new currency within the game known as Comprehension Charms, which will be used at certain vendors to crack the code on scrolls and other items.

However, they’re very limited in Season of Discovery thus far, and players will want to hunt these down as soon as they can, there are two currently known methods to obtain them. First, complete the quest titled “Spell Research,” which is when players unlock their first Mage rune, and you’ll need to complete other Mage rune quests such as “Ataeric: On Arcane.”

These will be the standard quest reward, along with any spells that you’ll learn with these new runes, as such is the theme around WoW Classic SoD.

The other method to do so, if you don’t feel like completing one of these quests at the current time, is to head into your capital city, either Stormwind or Orgrimmar, and head to a reagent vendor.

They’re going to cost players seven silver, however, which is quite the steep price so early in WoW Classic, so be prepared to fork over a pretty penny.
