There are a plethora of amazing Legendary weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3. But this one is especially perfect for your spellcasters. Getting your hands on Markoheshkir is quite a feat, as it’s hiding very well behind some dice rolls and puzzles. Continue reading to find out how to get the Markoheshkir Legendary staff weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Baldur’s Gate 3: Where to find Markoheshkir Legendary quarterstaff Location
You’ll need to be in Act 3 to find this amazing weapon. It’s probably one of the best Legendary weapons in the game, and the best staff, you don’t want to ignore it. How you can get Markoheshkir the Legendary staff weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3 is in Ramazith’s Tower from Sorcerous Sundries, hiding in a Glove of Invulnerability.
The staff isn’t just sitting there waiting for you to grab it, there are a few steps to gaining this weapon. First off, I recommend helping Nightsong with her quest here first, as the wizard here is after her. Once you and Nightsong find Lorroakan and take him down, you’re free to roam the tower.
Where you fight Lorroakan is the same place where Markoheshkir is, so make sure to walk through the blue portal on the second floor of Sorcerous Sundries in the Lower City. This teleports you to Ramazith’s Tower. Now you should notice there are some levels below you. You can Misty Step or jump down. The safest way to get down is by jumping on the floating furniture that leads to the lower floor. There’s still one more floor to go.

At this point, I should warn you that the only way through these puzzles are by using the See Invisibility spell or potion. Or there are some ways to cheese this, like casting Create Water on top of the invisible item. Otherwise, you’ll want to walk towards one of the Weave buttons. There’s only one that works, and it’s the one with a blank canvas sitting beside it. If you have See Invisibility on, you’ll notice a plaque beneath one that says Below. Click this button, and it’ll teleport you below.
Finally, you can see Markoheshkir hidden in the Globe of Invulnerability. There’s only one way to break this barrier, and it’s by seeing the invisible levers. On my first attempt, I didn’t have this spell, and I was confused as to why the levers weren’t there. I didn’t have the spell on me, so I used the Create Water trick to reveal the invisible lever.
Make sure you bring Gale along, or anyone with high Intelligence. You’ll only have one chance to roll a DC 20 check for Intelligence, and Gale has some good bonuses to this roll. Succeed, and the glove disappears, with Markoheshkir available to you! If you’re wondering what’s so great about this staff, here are its stats:
- 1d6 Bludgeoning damage (one-handed)
- 1d8 Bludgeoning damage (two-handed)
- Arcane Enchantment: Gain a +1 bonus to spell Save DC and spell attack rolls.
- Arcane Battery: Your next spell doesn’t cost a spell slot.
- Kereska’s Favor: Imbue yourself with elemental energy from the draconic goddess Kereska.
