No, I’m not bad at this! Wait until I use my special babies over here. Here is how to get kills with alternate ammo in Modern Warfare 3.
Modern Warfare 3: How to get kills with Alternate Ammo
While weekly updates will bring some spice to Modern Warfare 3 in the form of Weekly Challenges, it is quite often that some of these Challenges do not feature a whole lot of explanation. This will leave players in disarray and force them to attempt to complete other straightforward Challenges instead. That is the case with Season 2 Week 4, which will require you to get kills using alternate ammo in your Recommended Assault Rifle. Now, that may sound a bit confusing, given the number of aftermarket parts and underbarrel attachments that can modify one’s weapons to fire a type of alternate ammo. However, things are much easier than they appear — and this is often the case. All you need to do is attach any Ammunition Attachment and you will be good to go.
To do so, you will first have to level up your assault rifle of choice up to level 11 if you haven’t done so before. This will enable you to change the type of ammo you shoot during your matches. In my case, I equipped the 5.56 Nato High Grain Rounds which increases range and velocity while decreasing recoil control. Every single kill done with this Ammunition Attachment will count toward the tally, so just play your favorite Multiplayer match mode and keep pressing the trigger.

Pick your bullets and shoot your way through Challenge completion. Don’t forget to pick a Recommended Assault Rifle, otherwise no amount of alternate ammo will help you out.
