Cyberpunk 2077: How to get Johnny Silverhand’s car, gun, and clothing

To find each part of his get-up, you need to do certain missions. However, this guide will show the points in the game where Johnny Silverhand’s gear becomes available.

How to get Silverhand’s car

To get Johnny’s Porsche 930 Turbo, you must do the Chippin’ In side mission. Note: you have to have done the main mission Tapeworm already to unlock the side mission. When you’ve gone through the side mission long enough, you’ll encounter an NCP named Grayson. You’ll have the option to spare him or kill him, if you spare him, he’ll give you the key to Johnny’s Porsche 930 Turbo. Follow the marker on the map to open a container, and you’ll be able to use the vehicle. It’s a fast and nimble car that may help you escape police in the game.

How to get Johnny’s gun

Getting the weapon is super convenient if you’re following this guide in order. Obtaining Johnny’s Malorian Arms 3516 pistol can be done by doing the Chippin’ In side mission. On top of that, it’s also when you reach GraysonDo this before interacting with him. As you approach Grayson, Johnny will tell you to “grab the gun” a chat dialogue comes up giving you the good cop or bad cop choices. No matter which one you pick, you’ll still get the automatic weapon. His weapon is deadly and can compete with some other outstanding pistols in the game. Also, it’s worth getting this gun, as its reload animations are very cool.

How to get Johnny’s clothes

Earning what he wears might take more time since there’s a lot more going on here. You’ll need to collect his shirt, jacket, pants, boots, and aviators. However, since patch 2.0, clothes don’t have armor attributes. Instead, it’s on cyberware. But regardless, you’ll look cool.

  • Shirt – You’ll get his tank top for completing the Act 3 mission: Tapeworm. Meaning, you’ll need to do all three parts of the mission first. You’ll automatically earn the shirt because Tapeworm is a mainline mission.
  • Jacket – In the second part of Chippin’ In, you’ll get a call from an NPC named Rogue who is an affiliate of Silverhand. She’ll ask you to meet her at Afterlife. Once you’re there, and talk to her, she’ll bring up a gift for you. After, you’ll get prompted to open the trunk of her car where the jacket will be. It’s not the real thing though, still looks good regardless.
  • Aviators – Much like the shirt where you get it automatically after completing the Tapeworm mission, the aviators are earned similarly. Once you’re done with the mission, Chippn’ In will trigger where you play as Silverhand himself. After this sequence,  you’ll wake up and his sunglasses will be in your inventory.
  • Pants – Unlike the other articles of clothing for Johnny, his pants are earned differently. First head to Heywood but make your way to The Glen. Locate a gig called the Psychofan. Use the image below as a reference. Follow along to what objectives are. To start use the elevators to head up to the 17th floor. When you exit the elevator, head right of it and you’ll see doors. Once passed the doors, there should be stairs on your left. Follow them along to go to the roof. Now this part is a little tricky. As you exit the doorway that’s on the roof, look across from you there should be something that looks climbable. Walk to it and climb up, then fall to the balcony on the other side. You’ll reach an apartment, open the sliding door, and head up the stairs in front of the doors. When you reach the top, head into the room at the mouth of the staircase. Once you’re in this room, Johnny’s pants will be in a suitcase on the other side of the bed

  • Boots – When you complete the Chippin’ In side mission, you’ll unlock another side mission called Blistering Love. Also, make sure your Street Cred is around level 36. Then do the Family Heirloom gig. You can use the image below as a reference for the gig’s location. Follow along the marker, and deal with the enemies in the garage. After, in the same garage, head to the opposite side of the entrance. It’ll be marked in case you get lost. Once you reach there, look for a locker and the boots will be in there.
