One of your five a day.

In an early side quest for Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll be tasked with finding a plant called Harspud. And if you’re having trouble tracking it down that’s no problem. Let’s quickly cover how to find Harspuds in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Where to find Harspud

In the Borderwatch Outpost, you’ll be able to start a quest called The Provisioner’s Plight. This quest requires you to find three Harspud and two Salubrious Draughts. You’ve probably already got a couple of the Draughts in your inventory. But the Harspuds are a little trickier. Luckily you can find them in the immediate area of the quest.

You can easily find a Harspud in Dragon’s Dogma 2 by looking out for its unique characteristics. Harspuds are medium-sized plants that have a purple spiral growing in and around them. This makes them very easy to spot even amid other plants. They’re also a fairly common plant to find around the area where you can find The Provisioner’s Plight. After a quick search of the area, I managed to find six Harspuds without looking too hard.

My advice is to pay close attention to the ground as you search the area. Due to the dense amount of foliage in Dragon’s Dogma 2 it can be hard to pick out some plants. But even if you miss a plant or two, your Pawns are likely to bag them up anyway.

Harspuds are useful

On your journey in Dragon’s Dogma 2 you’ll probably want to collect a lot of these plants as you go. They restore stamina which means they’re going to be extremely valuable in fights where stamina is important. And if you’re climbing a boss or running long distance you’ll need Harspuds to keep you going.

Of course, Dragon’s Dogma 2 offers plenty of ways to heal health, stamina, and ailments. But in the early hours of the game you’re going to want to scrounge up whatever you find. This is doubly true if you’re new to the franchise as being prepared is the first step to making everything much easier.
