Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2, and DMZ are all now in Season 3 Reloaded and that means we can now unlock the GS Magna. This weapon is a version of the .50 cal GS pistol Desert Eagle, but it is fully automatic. The GS Magna is an incredible weapon in MW2, Warzone 2, and DMZ — here’s how to get it.

How to Unlock GS Magna
There are three ways to unlock the GS Magna in CoD: in MW2, in Warzone 2, or in DMZ. Once you’ve unlocked the gun through any of these games, you’ll unlock it for every other game.
I recommend unlocking the GS Magna through Modern Warfare 2 as the requirement to unlock the GS Magna is the quickest and easiest there. If you are a free-to-play CoD player who doesn’t own MW2, then you can get the GS Magna in Warzone 2 and DMZ, it will just be a lot harder. However you go about it, we’ll help walk you through it.
How to Get the GS Magna in MW2
The only way to get the GS Magna in Modern Warfare 2 is by getting 30 headshot Operator kills with the .50 GS. The best strategy to quickly and easily complete this challenge in MW2 is to load into Shipment.
In this close-quarters arena, you can rack up a lot of .50 GS headshot kills quickly. It’ll only take you a few matches to complete this challenge, especially because .50 GS headshots are one-shot kills.
How to Get the GS Magna in Warzone 2
If you want to unlock the GS Magna in Warzone 2, you’ll need to complete the same challenge: get 30 headshot Operator kills with the .50 GS. This challenge is much harder to complete in Warzone 2 for many reasons — you only have one life, enemy players are a lot more spread out, you need to finish downed players — which is why we recommend getting the GS Magna in Modern Warfare 2.
The winning strategy for unlocking the GS Magna quickly in Warzone 2 is to load into Plunder because you’ll be able to start the game with the .50 GS in your loadout. Wait til the last possible second to drop as there are bound to be a few AFK players that you can quickly get a few headshots on in the beginning.
From there, use a different weapon to quickly down enemies and finish them while they are on the ground with the .50 GS. If you stick to this strategy and play aggressively but carefully, you’ll easily get at least five or six .50 GS headshots per match.
How to Get the GS Magna in DMZ
Lastly, you can get the GS Magna in DMZ, but it can take a really long time and be challenging. To get the GS Magna in DMZ, you need to extract it from a weapon case. Weapon cases are found on Al Mazrah and Ashika Island by opening your map and looking for the large yellow circle with a case symbol in the middle.
Weapon cases have multiple rewards which is why it can take a while to get the GS Magna. Also, weapon cases are usually guarded by heavily armored AI enemies and sometimes bosses. The final cherry on top is that once you get a weapon case, every enemy Operator in the match will know your exact location and will be gunning for you.
For all of these reasons, I recommend not unlocking the GS Magna in DMZ. Of course, you can have a friend drop the GS Magna to you and extract with it to permanently unlock it in every game mode which is definitely the easiest way to unlock the GS Magna, but if you don’t have that, then DMZ is the worst place to get the GS Magna.
