With all the amount of crafting structures available for you, things can get overly complicated and confusing. Here is how to get Fired Bricks in Enshrouded.
Enshrouded: How to get Fired Bricks
In the process of building a brand-new Smelter for your Blacksmith, there might be a material that you haven’t seen before. Yes, I’m talking about Fired Bricks and you will need them to build said Smelter. They’re not difficult to craft, but it can get confusing. You see, while the Smelter is a Blacksmith structure, you will need the help of the Carpenter.
To cast Fired Bricks, you will first need to build a Kiln, a Carpenter structure. This Kiln is different from the Charcoal Kiln, which is a Blacksmith structure. It took me a while to realize this, so I guess many are having the same problem. To craft the Kiln, you will need the following materials:
- 50x Stone – You can pick the ones that lying on the ground or use a pickaxe to break bigger stones.
- 10x Lump of Clay – Found at Clay deposits.
- 10x Metal Scraps – Defeat Bandits.
- 2x Twigs – Chop down trees.
You will need Lumps of Clay for both the Kiln and the Fired Bricks. In case you are struggling to fight good mining spots, you can visit Revelwood. The hills surrounding the Revelwood Ancient will provide a significant amount of Lumps of Clay for both recipes.
Once you build the Kiln, all you need to do is interact with it and offer Lumps of Clay and Wooded Logs to get Fired Bricks. Visit the Clay deposit in Revelwood if you need more and chop down trees to get the Logs.
Now that you have your Fired Bricks, you will be able to craft your Smelter and, with it, craft new and more powerful armor. Just be mindful that you will probably need to collect more resources you haven’t seen before, so prepare yourself!
