You’ve doubtless spotted numerous Imperial Outposts out in the world of LEGO Fortnite, although every single one requires you to have Code Clearance to enter. Thankfully, there is one other way.

How to get Code Clearance in LEGO Fortnite

Without Code Clearance, you won’t be able to get into the Imperial Outposts in LEGO Fortnite. At least without force.

Code Clearance is something you’ll earn as you level up the Rebel Outpost, a new structure that’s arrived with all the Star Wars content. You’ll be able to locate the Rebel Outpost easily with the Macrobinoculars that Rebel Captain Bravara gave you.

Once there, you’ll need to raise the Rebel Outpost level to six. That’s six upgrades, which will take some time. The quests will have you clearing rubble, constructing buildings, and fighting Stormtroopers.

Once you’ve made it to level six, you’ll gain two things. Code Clearance, and a Blue Lightsaber. You now have all you need to enter those (almost) impenetrable doors.

How to enter Imperial Outposts in LEGO Fortnite

You will now have two ways to enter the Imperial Outpost. You can either simply open the doors and enter, now that you have Code Clearance, or cut them open with the Lightsaber you’ve earned. Although using the Lightsaber is awesome, simply opening the doors is a lot faster.

With the door opened or destroyed, you can enter the Imperial Outpost as you could a cave. On the other side, you’ll be met with yet another door that needs opening or slicing.

How to prepare for an Imperial Outpost in LEGO Fortnite

The Imperial Outposts in LEGO Fortnite are dangerous. There are many stormtroopers in there with high health and lethal blasters. They will happily chunk off three hearts of health at a time, so you’ll need some fire power of your own, and a lot of food.

You will need a couple blasters at least, with a Rare Crossbow for back up. You won’t be wanting to go toe-for-toe with them, so ranged warfare is prefered, here. Make sure your companion has a blaster, too!

You’ll want good quality Charms, too. Not just ones that add health, however, as they’ll quickly eat through it. The Charm of Resilience, Regeneration Charm, and Reflection Charm would be the best ones to use, although they’re super expensive to get, so you could settle for lesser Charms provided that you’re bringing good enough food.

Some Thermal Detonators would be a good idea to bring along, too.
