Modern Warfare 3 is now mostly about camo you can get for your weapons. Since each camo requires you to play the game in a certain or complete a set amount of challenges, some camos will take time to earn. Some challenges need an enemy to be downed with a clean kill.
Sounds easy, right? Well, Clean Kills are a little tougher to get than you’d think. But you can read on to learn how to get them in Modern Warfare 3.
Modern Warfare 3: How to get Clean Kills
Clean Kills are different than Fully-Loaded Kills which require you to down enemies with a gun that has all five attachment slots filled. Clean Kills are when you take out an enemy without taking damage. Sounds easy on paper, but I found out that you can’t get hit at all by another enemy shooting at you while you’re attacking your target. That’s why Stealth is the best way to rack up Clean Kills. I recommend having things like Covert Sneakers that make you quiet while running around. I also suggest having Stalker Boots in your loadout as they increase your ADS time.
Some challenges take things further. You can use Surppressed Clean Kills that will have you killing an enemy with a suppressed muzzle. On top of that, you can come across the Clean Kills while using Aim Down Sights which is self-explanatory.

Rewards for Clean Kills
As mentioned, most challenges are associated with camos in Modern Warfare 3. The Suppressed Clean Kill challenges require you to kill 25 enemies with the BAS-B. When you’ve gotten all 25 and completed the Forged Camo challenge and 36 other challenges, you’ll earn the Priceless Camo for the same gun. So it could be worth your while. This may seem like a lot of work, but these challenges need you to simply fight in a certain way like using Clean Kills.
Now that you know how to get Clean Kills, Prestiging may be something you need a refresher on. Fortunately for you, we have a guide for exactly that.
