How to get Brigandine Barding Horse Armor in Diablo 4

Not only can you dress up your character, but your horse as well in Diablo 4. All across Sanctuary, you can find Horse Armor for your Mount that you unlock during the main quest. While they’re simply cosmetics, they can still make your horse look unique. One of the Horse Armors is called Brigandine Barding, and we’ll explain how to get it in Diablo 4.

Where to find Brigandine Barding Mount Armor in Diablo 4

Throughout my time playing Diablo 4, I happened to stumble upon something called Brigandine Barding. Like most Horse Armor, how you can get Brigandine Barding in Diablo 4 is simply through chest or monster loot. Similar to how I came across the Ghastly Reins ghost Mount, I hadn’t even realized what I had picked up till later.

There are certain Mount Armors that you can purchase as a cosmetic, either with real money or through the PvP Red Dust currency. Armors like the Brigandine Barding is something any player can come across. Either a monster will drop it, or you’ll find it in a chest. I was also on World Tier III, so that could mean something, but there’s no for-sure proof that you can’t get this Armor under that World Tier.

If you’re really wanting to get some Armor or Mounts, I would recommend attending a lot of the World events. For example, partaking in Helltide or Legion events, especially in World Tier III, will heighten your chances of getting good loot. But how do you actually put Armor on your Mount?

Right-click the Brigandine Barding item in your inventory. This will send it to the stables for the next time you customize your Mount. Talk to any Stable Master, and you can change the type of Mount they are, and the type of Armor they wear. Now, whenever you summon your horse, they’ll look much more fashionable.
