How to unlock Bankai in Project Mugetsu

Getting your Bankai in Project Mugetsu is an incredibly long process. If you’ve gotten your Shikai, then you’ll be familiar with how awful the grind is. But it’ll only get worse.

Reach Meditation level 75

To get Bankai in Project Mugetsu, you need to reach Meditation level 75. I know, it’s awful. To give a rough perspective on how long this process is, it’ll take roughly 450 successful Meditations to reach Meditation level 50.

Note that if you’re part of the Urahara Clan, then you’ll only need to reach Meditation Level 50.

You can purchase an item that will keep track of your meditations for you, but you can also manually keep track. If you lose track, don’t worry – just keep meditating and you’ll eventually reach Meditation Level 75.

To meditate in Project Mugetsu, you must become a Soul Reaper and go to the Soul Society. The only way to get there, unfortunately, is to buy the Senkaimon item in the shop. Once you’ve teleported there, you must press “K” to start the meditation minigame,

The key to reaching a high Meditation level quickly is to take your time and get the inputs right. If you mess up an input, you’ll end up wasting time and losing more XP than you gain. If you continuously get all inputs right during Meditations, you’ll level up swiftly.

For every correct meditation input, you’ll gain 1 meditation XP. However, every miss will remove 10 meditation XP, so you really don’t want to mess up. Try not to click too quickly.

If this is your first time meditating, then when you reach Meditation Level 20, you’ll get the chance to fight your Zanpakuto to gain your Shikai. At that point, it’s only 55 more levels to go…

Defeat your Zanpakuto once more

Once you have finally reached Meditation level 50, you can fight your Zanpakuto again to unlock your Bankai. This will be a difficult fight, so be sure to have and use your best skills, use the environment to hide, and exercise caution. After winning the fight, you’ll have access to Bankai.

Upon finally defeating your Zanpakuto, you’ll gain access to your Bankai, and will become incredibly powerful.

Now that you’ve become a powerful Soul Reaper, why don’t you start a new save and become a powerful Fullbring?
