How to get Aspect of the Umbral in Diablo 4

Throughout your time playing Diablo 4, you’ll be trudging through Dungeons and earning new Aspects. Many Aspects are for specific classes, while some are available for everyone. The Aspect of the Umbral is for all classes, and can attach to your Rings. If you’re wondering how to get the Aspect of the Umbral in Diablo 4, continue reading.

Diablo 4: Aspect of the Umbral location

How you can get the Aspect of the Umbral in Diablo 4 is through completing the Champion’s Demise Dungeon, or extracting it from a Legendary Item. Any Aspect that goes into your Codex of Power is available in Dungeons. In the Dry Steppes region in Sanctuary, you’ll find Champion’s Demise at the Untamed Scarps area. During this Dungeon, you’ll have to complete a certain amount of tasks before you can receive this Aspect.

• Return the Stone Carving to the Pedestal
• Travel to Eater of Stones
• Defeat the Khazra Abomination

This is the easiest way to get the Aspect of the Umbral, since the other method is waiting to find it on a Legendary item. If you do come across a Ring with this Aspect, simply head to an Occultist to extract it. Or perhaps you’re alright with the Legendary Ring you found!

But what exactly does this Aspect do? Aspect of the Umbral will restore [1-4] resources for your Primary Resource when you Crowd Control an enemy. This is perfect for anyone who is struggling to keep up their Primary Resource during combat. If you complete the Dungeon, you can imprint the Aspect on any Ring at any point. But if you decide to extract it from a Legendary item, you’ll only be able to imprint it once. After that, you can’t extract it, so make sure you’re imprinting Aspect of the Umbral on your best Ring.
