The Armor of the Uninhibited Kushigo is valuable gear. It offers the chance for a character to deal an unarmed strike against an enemy who attacks them and misses, by way of a character reaction. To get the Armor of the Uninhibited Kushigo, acquire it by completing the Find the Missing Boots quest.

You will activate the Find the Missing Boots quest during your time in Grymforge. The Duergar character who offers you that quest appears not far south from the Myconid colony.

Once you have activated the quest, head north again to Myconid Colony. Near the center of the area, you’ll find a series of mushrooms you can climb to visit Sovereign Spaw. To his left, Thulla writhes on the ground, inflicted with poison. The screenshot above can help you find her exact location. I suggest saving before you approach. Once you check with the poisoned woman, you can Investigate to find she has the Boots of Speed. Take them. My party members, Astarion and Shadowheart approved when I did that. Karlach did not.

You can try to save the poisoned woman if you like, even after stealing the boots. That heroism is purely optional. For now, you have what you came for. Return to the quest giver and hand them over for your reward. If you wait too long to return the boots, the Duergar leave. That’s what happened to me on my first run through the area. In that case, the quest is automatically marked complete and you lose the opportunity to get the Armor of the Uninhibited Kushigo. It’s safest to find and return the boots as soon as you have the opportunity to do so.
