Having some sort of clairvoyance to help you during your grinding efforts is a great thing to possess. Here is how to get and use the Dragon’s Gaze in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Where to find the Dragon’s Gaze in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Before using the Dragon’s Gaze does in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll need to find it. Now, finding this is not difficult at all since it is located in a pretty obvious place in hindsight. You see, the Dragon’s Gaze is found in Vernworth Castle, on the top level of its Watchtower.
Now, that’s a long way up! Fortunately, the people in Vernworth managed to create a fully functional elevator that will take you almost up the Watchtower. It will stop a couple of floors below the top, so head up the stairs until you reach the top.
There, you will find three chests, with one being more decorated than the other. This chest will contain the Dragon’s Gaze, which will come in handy if you are struggling with dead NPCs or you even want to revive yourself when defeated.
How to use the Dragon’s Gaze in Dragon’s Dogma 2
You see, what the Dragon’s Gaze does is reveal the location of Wakestone shards across the area that surrounds the Arisen. Three of these shards will create a Wakestone that, as said above, will help you either revive unique NPCs or even revive yourself if you fall victim to monsters – or even fall damage.
After you use your Dragon’s Gaze by clicking it on your inventory, you will see the locations of the Wakestone shards on your map. Collecting them will come in handy should a tragic occasion come around like, for example, the Dragonsplague nuke or something. The good thing about the Dragon’s Gaze is that it is fully reusable, so you will get to explore the whole world and find these shards with ease moving forward.
This is the fastest way to get it since the alternative is to complete the Nameless Village quest, but that requires a level of skill that this method does not. Anyway, be sure to enjoy your Wakestones once you get them. And by enjoy, I mean perform damage control – because we all know things will go bananas eventually.
