Wuthering Waves: How to get the Monument Bell

The Monument Bell can be acquired by completing the Bell-Borne Geochelone weekly challenge. If you don’t have this challenge available yet, it means you haven’t completed Chapter 1 Act 4 of the main quest. Once you finish that prerequisite, the Bell-Borne Geochelone weekly challenge will become available in the Forgery Challenges under the Weekly Challenges tab.

The Bell-Borne Geochelone weekly challenge consists of heading to the “George of Spirits – Tolling Stream” location and defeating the Bell-Borne Geochelone enemy. The image below shows the location on the map.

This Belle-Borne Geocholone is not the most difficult in the game, but definitely requires some preparation on the player’s part. I recommend checking out our best healers in Wuthering Waves guide to get a sense of who you should bring into battle with you. It’s always smart to have highly skilled healers for boss battles.

What does the Monument Bell do in Wuthering Waves?

The in-game description of the Monument Bell is as follows: “The ancient bell carried on the back of the Bell-Borne Geochelone. When the bell rings, the awakened past will leave a new mark in this era.” While sounding very cool, that description doesn’t give the player much information on the Monument Bell’s actual effect.

The Monument Bell is used for upgrading skills on specific characters in the game. The list below shows which characters can use the Monument Bell for skill upgrading.

  • Aalto
  • Calcharo
  • Chixia
  • Mortefi
  • Baizhi
  • Verina
  • Jiyan

If any of these characters fall into your favorites, then I highly recommend attempting to defeat the Bell-Borne Geochelone and claiming the Monument Bell. I also recommend defeating the Dreamless (another weekly challenge) so you can acquire the Dreamless Echo Skill, an amazing ability for your party members.
