How to find Locked Diaries in Modern Warfare Zombies

The only way to get Locked Diaries in Modern Warfare Zombies is through the Reward Rift acquired after defeating the worm boss in the Act 4 mission called Bad Signal. Once you get your Locked Diary, exfil, and you’ll keep it in your backpack.

The Locked Diary is a Sigil and it belongs to the Cryo pedestal. In total, there are four Sigils that you need to collect: Cryo, Brain Rot, Napalm, and Dead Wire. Locked Diary may not be the easiest Sigil to get, but it is most likely the first Sigil you’ll get.

How to open Locked Diaries in Modern Warfare Zombies

The puzzle behind Locked Diaries is getting access to the Dark Aether Rifts. Once you have a Locked Diary, you need to place it on the correct pedestal, the Cryo pedestal, near the Dark Aether tornado. If it’s right, the pedestal will light up. However, these don’t stay run to run, so you need to keep the Locked Diary in your rucksack until you have the three other Sigils.

To fully use the Locked Diary, you need to acquire three other Sigils that match their elements. The Brain Rot Sigil is acquired by shooting an Aether Nest Cyst with Brain Rot, Dead Shock is from shooting a Harvester Orb with Dead Shock, and Napalm is from putting a Molotov and a piece of meat into a dog house.

Once you have a Sigil, go into an Aether Rift and enter the floating gold Aether Rift. Then, complete the purple Contract by defeating the named boss and you’ll get a gold version of your Sigil. Once you have all four gold versions of the Sigils and have placed them on the pedestals, you’ll enter the Dark Aether Rift.
