Gloom Slough is a type of bug that shows up in different areas in Huanglong. According to Jinhsi leaks, Gloom Slough is one of her required ascension materials. To prepare you for Jinhsi’s arrival, let’s uncover how to get and farm Gloom Slough in Wuthering Waves.

Jinzhou City

Just out Jinzhou City are some Gloom Slough plants. Around Lake Heights and Shade Ridge you can find nine Gloom Slough. You won’t find them on the ground, but rather clinging onto trees.

It’s not a lot, and this is one of the less dense farming routes, but it’s still an easy grab. There’s only one that’s out of the way on the very left, and all the other Gloom Slough are closer together by Shade Ridge.

Giant Banyan

In the southern region of the Dim Forest is the Giant Banyan where the Feilian Beringal resides. You’ll spot the most Gloom Slough here, which is around 25 of these little critters.

No matter where you start from, there’s a pretty general line to follow when it comes to farming Gloom Slough in this area.

Forbidden Forest

The last good farming route for Gloom Slough is also in the Dim Forest, specifically the Forbidden Forest. 16 Gloom Sloughs are around here.

With the Forbidden Forest being such a small area in the Dim Forest, it shouldn’t take you long to collect Gloom Slough here. Just keep an eye out for big blue beetles sitting on trees, and you’ll find them.

Other than Jinhsi, Yinlin is another big 5-Star character that requires ascension materials such as Coriolus which is also farmable.
