Aftermarket Parts in MW3 is one of my favorite features of the shooter. The ability to change how a gun behaves without changing the gun itself is a welcoming mechanic. Here’s how to get all Aftermarket Parts in Season 3 Reloaded including JAK Wardens, JAK Atlas, and more in Modern Warfare 3 (MW3).
Modern Warfare 3 (MW3): How to unlock all Season 3 Reloaded Aftermarket Parts JAK Wardens, JAK Atlas, and more
Unlocking these Aftermarket Parts is very much the same as it was during the last season. Seven out of eight parts will be unlocked by completing specific weekly challenges. However, at the time of writing this guide, those challenges won’t appear till the middle of the season. So right now, I can only explain what you’ll be unlocking. We’ll update this piece as we get close the mid-season.Â
All Aftermarket Parts in MW3 Season 3 Reloaded
- JAK Cutthroat: Used on the AMR9, MCW, MTZ-556, and the M4. This Aftermarket Part prioritizes mobility for accuracy. The best way to use this weapon is during close combat. If you use Stalker Boots which increases your speed, you might become harder to hit. However, to get the most out of this weapon, close the gap between you and the enemy.
- JAK Atlas: Turns the AMR9 SMG into a deadly rifle. With the five-round burst fire, you can get those headshots easily. Plus, you don’t need to fight with that much aggression when using this modified weapon. This can be attributed to the heightened damage this weapon gets.
- JAK Patriot: Automatic weapons have become a go-to for many players, old and new. They can be balanced, and you don’t have to compromise much. This attachment turns the M16 from a burst fire to an automatic weapon. The M16 is already super powerful at the base level, however, the burst fire can hold the weapon back. By switching to automatic, you use the weapon at its full potential without losing much power.
- JAK Jawbreaker: Shotguns can be a hit or miss. I prefer the automatic brand of shotguns. Less time to pump a shot, but at the cost of damage. The Jawbreaker Aftermarket Part takes the quality of a pump action shotgun and combines it with the style of a rifle. So, what you have in the end is a very deadly rifle that can down enemies within three or four shots. However, if you have this attachment, you’re going to have limits with your customizations.
- JAK Shadow Titan: Probably one of the strangest Aftermarket Parts in MW3. LMGs are very loud and unapologetic. This part makes the Bruen MK9 LMG into a stealthy and quick weapon. Plus, rather than using a belt of ammo, you’ll get a 60-round mag. I do like this because it means faster reload.
- JAK Revenger: The BP50, is already a good weapon. This Aftermarket makes it deadlier — at close range. If you’re a run-and-gun type player, you should use this weapon. Not only will your shots land almost all the time, you’ll be reloading less thanks to the extended 9mm ammo mag. If you want to see what this weapon is capable of, play on smaller maps/modes.
- Photonic Charge Barrel: Okay, this is the weirdest Aftermarket Part for the season. If you use it on MORS, it becomes a Railgun. Not my favorite as it requires to be charged up, and that leaves one open for danger. However, if you opt to use it, keep the distance between you and the enemy. When the weapon is fully charged, it can become a one-hit-kill type of gun. There is an upside but at the cost mobility and fire rate. When you’re using this weapon, keep that in mind.
- JAK Wardens: This is right now the only Aftermarket Part you can unlock. To do so, complete any five challenges in Week Five. When you do that, you get two Lockwood Mk 2 Marksmen Rifles and turn them into dual-wielding shotguns. What’s interesting about these guns is that they work well between medium and close range. Try playing a little more aggressively with these weapons, you’ll benefit from it.
JAK Ferocity can make the best pistol in MW3 into the best SMG. If that’s something that excites you, consider reading our guide on earning the Aftermarket Part.Â
