I encountered a Rake bug in Enshrouded that has an easy solution. If you find yourself not being about to craft a Rake in Enshrouded, this guide is for you.
Enshrouded: How to fix Rake error
If you don’t craft a Rake before your character reaches level five in Enshrouded, then you’ll be locked out of getting a Rake. You’ll unlock the Scrappy Rake at the Blacksmith, but you can’t make it without a regular Rake. This shouldn’t lock you out of making a regular Rake, but right now, it does.

To make a regular Rake in Enshrouded, you simply need to go to your Workbench and use the required materials. If your character is over level five, the option to make a regular Rake disappears.
I experienced this Rake error firsthand, which is why I know how to fix it. The easiest way to fix this Rake error in Enshrouded is to create a new character and enter your world. Go to your base and access the Workbench. Craft a Rake, store the Rake in a chest, and return to the main menu. After switching back to your main character, you can reenter your world and find the Rake.
If this doesn’t work, you may need to start a new character and a new world. But don’t worry, creating a Flame Altar, then a Workbench, and then a Rake doesn’t take too long. Once you have the Rake, return to the main menu and launch into your main world. Drop the Rake in a chest, switch to your main character, and the Rake is yours. You can now immediately upgrade to the Scrappy Rake.
This particular Rake bug will likely get patched by Keen Games very soon. In the meantime, there is a workaround that is helpful so you can get to flattening ground and creating your own farm. Now you can worry about the best places to farm Metal Scraps.
