How to get a Raid Key in MW2
Season 1 Reloaded has introduced Raids to Modern Warfare 2. Raids are epic large-scale PvE events that you can take on in a team of three. Each season will see a new Raid introduced with the first being Atomgrad Episode 1. To access a Raid, you need to first acquire a Raid Key.
There are three different methods to get a Raid Key in MW2. Arguably, the easiest method is to complete a specific Daily Challenge in either Multiplayer or Special Ops. This challenge will change every day, but is usually self-explanatory and easy enough to complete. Some examples of challenges you could get include Dead Silence Kills, LMG Kills, and Thermite Kills.
The second easiest way to obtain a Raid Key is to extract $30,000 cash in a game of DMZ. You can quickly build up cash in DMZ by looting areas with a higher probability of having legendary loot crates or by completing contracts. You can do this by yourself, but it is easier with a full squad.
Players who only play Warzone 2 and generally avoid MW2 can still obtain a Raid Key. To get a Raid Key in Warzone 2, you need to finish within the top 20 of a Warzone 2 match. This can be done in any active playlist meaning that even time-limited game modes such as Mini Royale and Third Person Royale will count.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available on PC via Battle.net and Steam.
