How to get a Pistol Silencer in Sons of The Forest

Sons of the Forest has several weapon attachments that can give your firearms that extra punch or utility effect. One of these is the Pistol Silencer, which aids you if you want to eliminate baddies in a stealthy manner. Here’s our guide to help you get the Pistol Silencer in Sons of the Forest.

How to get the Pistol Silencer in Sons of the Forest

To get the Pistol Silencer in Sons of the Forest, you’ll need to acquire several items:

• Shovel – You’ll basically pick up several tools before you can get the Shovel, but it’s quite important since it lets you discover additional secret areas.
• Maintenance Keycard – With the Shovel, you can open a hatch that leads to an office with the Maintenance Keycard. You can see the green marker encircled in the image below. Assuming your helicopter crashed near the mountains and you’re facing said mountains, then it’ll be to the west.

Once you have the Shovel and Maintenance Keycard, it’s time to head to the opposite side of the island, this time further east. Basically, you’ll want to reach a green marker at the edge of the mountain range (seen in the image below).

There’s a small cannibal camp here, so watch out for hostiles. Once they’ve been defeated, bring out the Shovel and dig through the patch of ground. This will reveal yet another hatch.

Go down the ladder and enter the office to your right. The Sons of the Forest Pistol Silencer is on a desk. Of course, you do need the Pistol, so make sure to grab it off a boat in the middle of the sea.

Assuming you have it already, open your inventory and right-click on the Pistol and the Silencer to combine both. Enjoy your stealthy kills.
